About Me
My life long quest is to ignite and bring together the inherent power in all of us, including myself. Interconnecting everything to live our unique lives as we truly desire and as part of one whole community.Hi! I’m Luna.
I believe we are One United Humanity with the power to create and live our lives as we truly desire.
Even if we do not yet know how.
No one human has all the answers. Yet, together, we are the infinite wisdom we seek.
A little bit about myself
My Whole perspective on life came from an unhappy childhood and teenage years. I went through university on to a seemingly successful city career, complying with society’s norms and expectations. Along the way, I became a Chartered Accountant working for nearly a decade in global strategic departments of the world’s largest banks like Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and HSBC. At this time it was about living life according to a “work hard, play hard” philosophy, as well as “playing the game”. Sound familiar?
As I hit the age of 30 my world as I had built it was breaking. It turned out it had not been built to endure in the first place. With multiple symptoms of ill health, persistent anxiousness, sadness and loneliness, I finally acknowledged:
“I do not know”
My existing world crumbled as I painfully realised I had focussed entirely on compliance not connection. I wanted my life to be more meaningful. I made the decision to leave London. As I stared out of the window of the plane I had boarded, although I knew geographically where I would land I had no idea where to go in life itself. So, I began to focus on dialogue, firstly with myself, reflecting to re-align my world in a way that felt more natural, more me, more us, more Whole.
I started to see the importance of community; the value of pitching in during daily life; from this I could experience what it really means to belong. This ignited awareness around relationships with myself and others as the foundations of a happy, healthy me as well as humanity. Realising there is a lot more to life than money, I started to shift to encompass my true values.
Along this journey I traveled and lived abroad in countries including Guatemala, Spain, Vietnam and India, absorbing different perspectives on life. I undertook intensive residential training to become an Advanced Ayurveda Therapist and also a Yoga Therapist. I spent time studying and practicing in sacred places such as Tushita Monastery and Thosalming Nunnery in Dharamshala and Sivananda Ashram, Kerala. For years I became absorbed in many different perspectives of Wholeness.
Finally, after nearly six years away, in mid 2021, I knew it was time to come home.
I now engage with life very differently; approaching it with an increasingly Whole perspective. My life is now a journey towards Wholeness, towards aligning to natural activities. This multidimensional approach has greatly improved my health and ignited a desire to actually live life. I enjoy engaging in the now with curious exploration in daily life, inspiring hope in the tomorrow.
In the firm belief that much of humanity is now entering a huge transition, similar to my life, The Whole Human: Interconnecting Modern Life, came to be written. It is my hope it facilitates the reader connecting more deeply with themselves, as well as opening the door for me to connect with likeminded souls who wish to approach life from a Whole perspective yet do not know how.
While I have left the banking industry there were many aspects I remain grateful to have learnt. I became accustomed to working in complex, global, cross-functional and cross-geographical departments. I still leverage aspects of the practical process, system and human change skills from this time. However, I apply this to businesses coming from a perspective that we are already One Whole Humanity and the future is in self-correction to align to nature’s cycles. I believe with all my heart that the more we align to this, the more opportunities we naturally create for good health and fulfilment in life. I have since been pioneering different approaches in wellness and learning areas, as the Strategic Transition Partner (A.k.a The Dream Mechanic), as well as mentoring others within a business context.
Finally, believing in forces beyond the physical even if I do not know what that exactly is, I developed a passion for working with Tarot and Oracle Cards. I use these for my own guidance as well as offering higher-perspective guidance to those who need it.
Outside of these activities I am learning woodcraft, pole dancing and contact improvisation dancing. I love to go hiking in ancient forests, camping in fields and participating in small, intimate festivals or gatherings. Currently I live in Hove, Brighton, UK and am enjoying a new chapter in my life settling in this community.
I am on a life long journey discovering together with others who I really am and who we truly are. Would you like to join?
With gratitude from my whole heart,
After many years learning about myself, seeking that certainty of knowing, I kept coming back to one thing. Every time I thought I knew something, I ended up realising:
“I don’t know”
So, if I do not know, then I also do not know whether something is impossible or not. This opens up an infinite number of doors for myself and humanity.
What is it that you don’t know?
